You join and recruit others to join, and then when they make sales you can just collect your commissions. Unfortunately there is no such thing as an “easy” business. Ok – you should show your downline what needs to be done, but do not do it for them. It’s just an obvious point that all people in this business need to do for themselves. It’s simple because they have to be able to replicate this for themselves and others. You can teach them well, then show them how it’s done and expect them to follow your lead. Otherwise you aren’t actually a multi level marketer, you are a basic affiliate marketer in MLM clothing. Every good leader in MLM teaches them to go out on their own.
You know those free product samples… when you hand them out, people will generally thank you, and that will be it. Free samples are great for endearing you to potential clients but they do not always guarantee a sale. Make careful choices about who you give them out to. Choose the people you think are really pondering your products. If you offer the sample too soon, your prospect will simply walk away with it. You really have to pay attention to people, and you only really want those who are on the verge of saying, yes. Give away freebies only when you need to so you won’t run out too quickly!
It’s important to help your downline and those you bring into the business, so be there for them. It will adversely affect performance if you’re not around to answer questions and help. It’s natural but people won’t want to work as hard for someone who refuses to help. If you’re there to help them, you’ll see the exact opposite effect. You absolutely are able to make very serious money with MLM if it’s done correctly and with the right perspective. Of course there are many who are misinformed and think it’s just a scheme to make money fast. It can appear to be like that, for sure. But there are MLM businesses that are 100% legitimate.
It’s totally possible to be successful if you treat it like a genuine and real business and work hard to succeed.
