If you are getting ready to purchase a new vehicle and just can’t think about what to do with your old one then why not give it to charity. You will not only save yourself the hassle of trying to get someone to buy the car but it is also very rewarding knowing that you are doing your bit for charity. So when you donate a used car it will not only benefit the charity but it will also benefit you.

 

Most of the time, the value of a used car will be lower than we think it is; this is because it depreciates the minute we leave the showroom and continues to depreciate all the time. It is highly unlikely that you will get the price you wanted for your car, that’s if you actually get someone to buy it because this process can take months. There are charity organisations like Oxfam who already receive a few hundred cars each year and they are always happy to receive donations like these. Doing your bit for charity is always a good thing and is very rewarding; you will feel very good about doing something like this. But because not many people have heard about this kind of donation, there are a lot of people who would never even think of doing this. But hopefully, this will grow in popularity so that charities such as Oxfam will be able to help more people in need.
